There are very few contemporary versions of this extraordinary catalogue…until now.

Former Robin Gibb Manager, John Campbell, has collected a handful of these outstanding tracks. Campbell introduced them to three eclectic production teams and collectively they formed The Somebody’s, who have presented their unique take. What we have is the mind-blowing album:

“LONELY DAYS” is produced by the collective West London team ‘TMS' whose past work includes Lily Allen, Tinchy Stryder, Shakira, Pixie Lott and Rox. “LONELY DAYS” contains an unashamedly stomping chorus, which drops in after a beautiful piano led verse, that both compliment the original as well as dressing it in contemporary sounds. Dripping with boldness, this becomes the anthem of all anthems to isolation.

“I STARTED A JOKE” is produced by Michael ‘Kwesi ‘ Graves.

Anthony Moriah sings this unique performance, and a sad tinge to this recording is that Anthony sadly died just a short while after making this record. He does leave however, a legacy by virtue of this track, which cannot help but place a smile on one’s face and leave one feeling that summer should never pass.

‘That’s All I Really Want’ is the rousing new single from Worcester born, multi-instrumentalist, Robinson. Taken from his critically acclaimed debut album, ‘England’s Bleeding,’ it further showcases his endless musical talents. Written during a spur of the moment visit to St. Ives, Cornwall, where his stay, comprising of a bed, a few decent meals and a pint of beer were funded only by a handful of busking sessions. ‘That’s All I Really Want’ tells the tale of Robinson’s realisation of how beautiful the simple life can be. Despite the complexity of modern life, a few simple home comforts along with the challenge of painting his music on an infinite canvass were all he really wished for.

Featuring an all-new single mix, ‘That’s All That I Really Want’, produced by Andy Robinson & Mark Lyons, captures the essence of one of Robinson’s riveting live shows. The single release on 8th August coincides with a series of dates and festival appearances including Glastonbury, Hop Farm Festival Beach Break Live, & The Secret Garden Party over the summer.
